GETTING TO ASHEVILLE
The closest airport is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL), a small regional airport located about 20–25 minutes from the Biltmore Estate.
The second closest airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), a major international airport located approximately 2.5 hours from Asheville.
SHOULD I RENT A CAR?
While renting a car is not required, we highly recommend it. The Biltmore Estate is expansive and not walkable from place to place, and transportation is not provided throughout the estate for moving between locations.
If you plan to arrive a few days early or stay after the wedding, having a car will makeexploring the Biltmore and Asheville much easier.
If you are staying at a Biltmore property — such as The Inn on Biltmore Estate or Antler Hill Village — or at one of our recommended hotels (Hilton or Residence Inn), shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the wedding that evening.
WHERE SHOULD WE STAY? DO YOU HAVE A HOTEL BLOCK?
On the Biltmore Estate property, guests may choose to stay at The Inn on Biltmore Estate or in Antler Hill Village.
To book a room on property, you can either CLICK HERE to book online.
You may also contact Sharon Walters Travel (sharonwalterstravel@gmail.com or 707.853.6694) who will be able to assist you directly in booking your hotel rooms as well as any other personal travel concierge needs you may have.
If you are interested in staying off property, we have secured hotel room blocks at a couple of hotels outlined below.

IS BILTMORE PET FRIENDLY? CAN I BRING MY DOG TO THE ESTATE?
Pets are not permitted inside any buildings or within any of the lodging accommodations on the estate. ADA-regulated service animals are allowed.
However, pets are welcome on the estate grounds and must remain securely leashed at all times. They are permitted on the outdoor patios of Bistro and Cedric’s Tavern; patio seating must be requested from the host or hostess inside.
All animals must remain leashed for their safety and the comfort of other guests, and owners are expected to clean up after their pets.
